After a run-in with criminals turns successful teenage sleuth Jimmy Kudo into a seven-year-old he begins to solve crimes secretly as a young boy named Conan Edogawa. The name "Conan" references Jimmy's favorite detective Sherlock Holmes and his inventor Arthur Conan Doyle. However with all his fun gadgets Conan more closely resembles a miniature James Bond (minus the tux though he does have a bow-tie voice transmitter). In the first volume of the second season mysteries are everywhere and Conan doesn't let his small size keep him from cracking cases.
