The adorable cartoon character known as Hello Kitty was created by Japanese company Sanrio in 1974 and quickly became a pop culture phenomenon through extensive merchandising and a series of animated television shows. The HELLO KITTY'S ANIMATION THEATER series follows the cute and cuddly feline her twin sister Mimmy and their friends Badtz-Maru Pochacco My Melody and Dear Daniel as they act out timeless fairy tales in classic Hello Kitty fashion.
